  3. Your data will be processed only by Racemap and not forwarded to third parties for further use (eg for advertising or marketing).

Below we explain how Racemap ensures the protection and security of your personal information in accordance too applicable legal regulations.

1 Personal Information of Members

Racemap offers services on the Internet. We want to visualize sports events real time and subsequently in the interactive Racemap player.

Racemap is based on the principle that ususers provide personal information public as usual for sports events. These information must be accurate.

Information for Live Tracking and Registration

For processing of live tracking you will be asked for name, family name and race number.
To manage the member accounts when registering you will be asked for email address and password, phone number and your adress. These data are not public.

Location Data

If you use the Racemap » App, you can do real-time tracking of your location data for a particular sports event. Your location data and the location data of other ususers participating in the event is used to create an interactive presentation of the event in the Racemap player. Your location data is stored in Racemap to subsequently play back the event in the the Racemap player.
In Racemap live tracking is also possible with GPS-Tracker.

2 Visibility of Personal Information

Racemap is based on the principle that ususers provide personal information public as usual for sports events. These informationinformation are name, first name, race number and location data at sporting events. These informationinformation must be accurate. Legal basis for this is § 28 Section 1 No. 3 of the BDSG.

The interactive presentation of the event is public. Everyone withith the link can view the interactive presentation of the event.

3 Purpose of Collecting Personal InformationInformation

Racemap always adheres to the legal regulations (in particular § 14 TMG and § 28, 29 BDSG) with collection, storage, processing and use of in 1 referred ppersonal informationinformation.
Racemap collects, stores, processes and uses this information only to enable and maintain the services provided for the users.

4 No Transfer of Personal Information to Third Parties

Racemap will not share personal information to third parties for further use (eg for advertising or marketing).

5 Data Security

In order to protect users as much as possible as much as possible against viruses and unauthorized access from outside to racemap.com Racemap uses updated firewalls and other security systems. Racemap agrees to obtain an adequate level of protection and to adjust the applied security technologies on the current status. Racemap can not guarantee a total protection.
Racemap is not responsible for virus protection as well as for damage to and destruction of data beyond our services. Racemap will civilly and criminally prosecute any discovered hacker attack.

6 Use of Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are temporarily stored either in memory („session cookie”) or saved permanently on thethe hard drive („permanent cookie”). Each user can choose in the browser browser settings, whether to accept cookies, to be notified when a cookie is set or to reject all cookies. Some Racemap services are not available with refused cookies.
Racemap uses session cookies to authenticate the user at login. These cookies are not savaved on the hard drive of the user but will expire automatically when the browser is closed. The use of cookies is intended for the smooth operation of the services.

7 Right to receive Personal Information of the User

Each user has the right to get free information from Racemap about the personal data stored about his person. The request for information should be sent by email to info@racemap.com. The request for information must be accompanied by a copy of identity card wirt a qualified signature.

8 Deletion and Correction

Membership in Racemap can be canceled anytime.

The user has the right to request the deletion of personal information collected by Racemap if not § 28 Section 1 No. 3 BDSG can be applied to this data.
The user can modify, correct and delete his personal information at any time. Deleted data will be deleted completely. An application for modify, correct or delete data is not required.
The user has the right to require from Racemap correction, modification or deletion of stored data. But the easiest way for the user for correction is, to change his own data.
Racemap points out that due to caching systems and the interconnection of proxy servers also deleted data may be available up to 72 hours.
If the user requires the correction, modification or deletion of personal information, this can be done through email to info@racemap.com. The request must contain name, first name and race number and possibly email and password for the correct identification.

9 Use of Facebook Plugins

Plugins of the social network Facebook, 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA are integrated on this website. You recognize the Facebook-plugins by the Facebook logo or the „Like“ button. When you visit this website, the plugin connects your browser and the Facebook-server. Facebook receives the information that you are visiting this website with your IP address.
When you are clicking the Facebook „Like“ button while logged into your Facebook account, you can link the content of our pages on your Facebook profile and Facebook can assign your visit to this website.

10 Use of Google Analytics
